The staff was helpful and affable all the time. I was given a large and bright room with a bedroom. the location was exceptionally nice, close to the soccer field and conveniently near north Oshawa, Toronto, and restaurants.

found the beds extremely uncomfortable and the pillows even worse. asked for some more pillows and were told there were not any. actually had the fold the pillow in half to get to sleep

the rooms were clean and comfortable. The sleeping arrangements, being at the rear of the suite, allowed for very quiet atmosphere.
the games room might be re-supplied with equipment that is more functional, i.e. pool cues, chalk, etc.

We arrived late at night and had a bit of difficulty finding the place. Since this is on a campus, it would have helped to have more specific directions.

We only stayed there because of availability. It was convenient for my colleague and I as we had our own room. When we booked on line we didn't realize it was a college residence or we wouldn't have booked there.
Funny odour of the rooms.

It was close to our destination, the shower worked and the beds were not uncomfortable. Two bedrooms was a plus as it allowed us to share a room, so value was good.
We spent over an hour trying to find the place as the address is not accessible by car without going through a large parking lot. We noticed several cars wandering aimlessly the same way we had, and gave directions to a few; better signage is really needed. This hotel is part of Durham College and was packed with adolescents visiting for a sporting event so it was loud in the sitting room in the evenings, but with the bedroom door closed it wasn't so bad. Overall I would rate it a reasonable value and would probably stay again if the need arose based on location, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone expecting a Quality Inn or Best Western type hotel.

Staff were friendly, well organized and very helpfull. Room was very clean. Everything worked - a pleasant surprise. Good value for the money. Would definately stay at the Residence and Conference Centre again. Best wishes on their continued success.
Residence was a bit difficult to find due to Campus location on a winding road. The building itself was well marked with the address. Perhaps a bit of direction with the room confirmation would help.for first timers to the residence.

inexpensive and pet friendly... adequate space in clean rooms.
nowhere on website did it tell you that it was a dorm located on a college campus.... a bit hard to find and a surprise upon discovery. Rooms were adequate but spartan. Breakfast was a joke. We had to go back to front desk (another close building) and get coupons to eat paltry fruit, bakery and yogurt offerings while "organized group" in attendance were served full breakfast (no signs to indicate excusive nature of other guests).

Good value for the price, rooms were clean
staff were not very friendly or willing to help. I had made some request for my stay, non of which were met and when I checked in the staff member did nothing to see if he could help with my request. I use to work for your company and know he could have at least checked to see if our room could be closer to my parents however he just rudly replied were sold out
